Our Story & Vision

Built on partnership, grounded in community, and driven by a single mission โ€” to make Nigeria's rice supply self-sufficient from the Niger Delta outward.

"
We believe the Niger Delta holds the key to solving Nigeria's rice deficit โ€” and Tantita Rice Farm is the platform to unlock it.
โ€” Tantita Rice Farm Ltd., 2026

From Vision to Vertically Integrated Enterprise

Nigeria is Africa's largest rice consumer, with national demand exceeding 8 million tonnes annually. Yet domestic production remains structurally constrained โ€” fragmented smallholder systems, weak post-harvest infrastructure, and inconsistent quality supply to urban markets have long defined the sector's limitations.

Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited recognised this gap and built a solution from the ground up. Tantita Rice Farm Ltd. is the result: a commercially structured, cooperatively governed rice enterprise in Torugbene, Delta State โ€” one of Nigeria's most ecologically ideal locations for irrigated lowland rice.

Unlike donor-style agricultural interventions, this project is designed as a bankable agro-industrial investment platform capable of absorbing commercial finance while generating lasting community impact. It is implementation-ready, with defined land parcels, engineering designs, governance instruments, and a full financial model.

Vision, Mission & Strategy

๐Ÿ”ญ

Our Vision

To become the leading integrated rice enterprise in South-South Nigeria โ€” a model for commercially disciplined, community-centred agro-industrial development that reduces dependence on imported and northern-sourced rice.

๐ŸŽฏ

Our Mission

To produce high-quality milled rice through controlled irrigated farming, cooperative farmer integration, and centralised processing โ€” delivering consistent supply to wholesale and institutional buyers while generating sustainable returns for all stakeholders.

โšก

Our Strategy

A phased, volume-driven model that progresses from 25 hectares in Year 1 to 200 hectares by Year 5 โ€” embedding learning before scale, aligning cost structures with production growth, and achieving profitability through operational efficiency rather than price speculation.

Our Core Values

๐ŸŒฑ

Integrity

Transparent governance, honest farmgate pricing, and accountable financial management at every level.

๐Ÿค

Community Partnership

Farmers are co-owners, not employees. Income, dividends, and assets stay within host communities.

๐Ÿ“Š

Commercial Discipline

Driver-based financial models, conservative yield assumptions, and cost-linked pricing protect investment integrity.

๐ŸŒ

Environmental Stewardship

Controlled irrigation, structured drainage, biodiversity monitoring, and proactive environmental compliance.

๐Ÿ”ฌ

Technical Excellence

Agronomic science, mechanised operations, and quality assurance systems embedded throughout the value chain.

๐Ÿ“ˆ

Scalability

Modular infrastructure design and cooperative aggregation enable planned expansion without operational disruption.

๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ

Accountability

General Assembly oversight, Management Committee governance, and annual audits ensure checks and balances.

๐Ÿš

Food Security

Every tonne of locally milled rice reduces Nigeria's dependence on imports and stabilises southern markets.
